All you need is one form or e-mail address on the website and you are already collecting personal data. Dutch law (AVG, the equivalent of GDPR) then requires you to say in simple words what is happening to them - it's one subpage, done once.

When you need it
- You have the form — name, telephone number, e-mail address are personal data, even if they only go to your inbox.
- You provide your e-mail address or telephone number — when someone writes or calls, you process their data.
- You have statistics, a Google map or a Facebook plugin - in addition, there is consent to cookies.
What must be included in it

Example of storage period: “we keep correspondence for one year from the last contact.” You usually provide the data to the company that maintains your email and hosting - this is normal, it just needs to be replaced.
Cookies are a separate issue
Cookies consent is only needed if it actually tracks something: advertising statistics, Facebook pixel, Google maps. Without them, the “I agree to cookies” banner may be unnecessary. The statistics on our websites do not include tracking files, so the visitor does not receive a pop-up window upon entry.
Each website we provide has its own Privacy page written for your company. What else needs to be on the site: ”What must be on the website of a company in the Netherlands”.
