Sometimes it doesn't: if customers only come by referral and you answer the phone, Facebook may be enough for a long time. Here's when it's no longer enough - and how to recognize it before it starts costing you business.

What Facebook does well
It's free and ready the same day, people are already there, you upload photos of your work from your phone, and the messages come wherever you're looking anyway. A live profile with photos of recent work looks better than a dead page from three years ago.
Three limitations

When it's no longer enough
- The client asks “do you have a website?” — it's a question of credibility. It failed once, it will fail again.
- You want to enter a new city, where no one will recommend you.
- You work with companies — for larger orders, someone checks the KvK, BTW and address.
- You pay for advertising — traffic to a profile whose appearance is changed by someone else is an uncontrollable expense.
The cheapest sensible arrangement
Facebook is left for photos and quick chat. Next to it, there is one place that belongs to you and tells you in five seconds what you are doing, where and what number to call - plus a Google business card. What does your customer see today? Enter the address — the report comes back in a few seconds.
